centuries ago, humanity and a race called the Tamashi no ikimono, or ikimono, lived in peace and swore to protect and serve each other for the greater good. But humanity cut the agreement short, and began to slowly eliminate the ikimono's power, by killing them.
Now, the ikimono remain hidden from the horrors of humanity in the only untouched place of peace. the forest.

Hikari Ametsuchi (Ametsuchi Hikari) doesn't remember her own father, and her mother won't tell her where he went, or how he disappeared. Hikari is HATED at her high school, and she doesn't have her own car. but when she meets someone, her life gets a bit more...interesting.
